Miss Lucy (the dog) gave me a run for my money. Even after a 5 mile run, she was too squirmy to sit still with her family. She spent most of the shoot in the car, but I did manage to capture a few snaps of this sweet pup. No family is complete without the quintessential canine!
Sometimes the best locations are right under your nose. Instead of going to a local park or preservation, we chose a pond right in their subdivision. Yet, what makes these photos amazing, is how I shot from the ground looking up. Enchanted by huge billowy clouds in the sky, the family is in the center of the horizon line, still making them the main focus of the picture. So next time you're stuck, just look up at the sky!
This past Father's Day, I was hired to surprise this family with a photo shoot. Ten cute kids under the age of 10, on a super hot Chicago afternoon. They only envisioned hopping in the crisp cool pool next to us.
Nothing is sweeter than a milestone birthday. The first year is filled with so many firsts; smiling, cooing, sitting up, babbling, rolling over, sitting up, crawling, and now walking. I marked his first year with my first chalkboard art design. As my four year old remarked, "Awe, mom isn't he cute?" Yep, he sure is!!
